HOSTEL 2...... Many would dismiss this as a "slasher" film; but, although much of the last half is gruesomely unsettling, I think the film ranks with the great "Horror Films".....insightful casting of Alan Ladd's granddaughter, Jordan Ladd; the charismatic and brilliant Lauren German; the nerdy multi-faceted Heather Matarazzo; and Bijou Phillips, daughter of John Phillips.....acting. And direction by the not-yet-40 Genius, Eli Roth...
