  • Psychoanalytical films from the early 1960's seem to abound recently on TV and YouTube...... I just watched the Joan Crawford vehicle, AUTUMN LEAVES, that launched Cliff Robertson to stardom......and SHOCK CORRIDOR, in which a writer does research in a mental hospital.....Slews of head-shrinking films hit the screens on the heels of DAVID AND LISA and LILITH and SUDDENLY, LAST SUMMER.......motivating me, still in my teens, to aspire to be a Psychiatrist, after my subsequent reading of Freud's INTERPRETATION OF DREAMS.......
